Laser cut!

I continued to make the same little box from before. I tried using laser cutting to make the lid of the box. I drew Ai diagrams, including a circle with a handle shape dug out, and a circle shape. When laser cut, the cut surface burns and turns black, so I sanded the edges of the lid.

I assembled the wooden lid, glued the circles and loops and hammered the metal handle into the lid with a hammer, and because it was the right size, the handle nestled into the lid so securely that it didn't need to be glued.

This little box using steel and wood is finished and I use it to hold pegs quite nicely!
