Tony’s Tour

Our first destination was a second hand market and Tony let us use a pound to buy things we liked. I used the £1 to buy a small ceramic rattle and a small wooden sculpture, and then later spent another £1 on a glass vase and a ceramic vessel respectively. It turns out that you can buy such interesting things for a pound, which I thought was an interesting experience.

We then went to the CCA where the gallery showed some textile work, some oil paintings and ceramics. I found it interesting that there were pieces of ceramics from the same collection tucked away in the corners of the various collections.

We then went to the Hanna Barry Gallery, which contained a lot of whimsical works in ceramics, metal, wool felt and other materials.
