Acrylic Tests
I used a thicker acrylic sheet and blew on it with a hot air blower to simulate the effect of water waves.
At first I blew it on a tabletop and wasn't paying attention to how long the heat gun was blowing at the same spot, so there were a lot of scratches and fingerprints on the surface of the finished acrylic sheet. And there were a lot of air bubbles inside the acrylic sheet.
Then I tried not letting the acrylic sheet touch the tabletop during the heat blowing process and being careful not to blow on the same part of the acrylic sheet for too long, and then there were almost no bubbles or scratches in the acrylic sheet.
This shows that acrylic is a usable material. However, acrylic has a random shape after blowing hot, so it's difficult to control, if I need to use it to accurately replicate the shape of a particular water wave.
